Act 1 Post, Yeahhh buddy

I think this book is really interesting. The characters interactions together are really funny to read. Even though this book wasn't written recently, the actions some of the characters make are similar to ones that people make today. Back then cheating was unheard of, but for some reason it seems a lot more common today. Nora seems to like the ravishing attention that Dr. Rank is giving her because it is something her husband doesn't give her. She even flirts with him while her husband is next door! She says while her and Helmer are dancing the Tarentella, Dr. Rank can look at her ankles with her nude stockings. If that's not leading a guy on, then i don't know what is!
If i was in Nora's situation, I would tell Helmer the truth about borrowing the money. It seems like that might be risky but it would be the right thing to do. Helmer would be incredulous about how Nora was able to raise that much money in that little time. The main character Nora seems to be selfish and conceited. She has good intentions but sometimes she words things the wrong way. A quote I feel fits this story's plot well is "A woman cannot be herself in modern society." At least back in the day during this time period that made sense. To end my blog, I hope that in the story Nora doesn't make frivolous decisions that could turn out to be bad for her at the end. But then again, we are dealing with a scatterbrain here!
